A warm and friendly welcome awaits at The Old Toll Gate which offers perfectly positioned bed and breakfast accommodation in glorious West Herefordshire countryside.
Ten minutes from Hay-on-Wye and twenty from Hereford, The Old Toll Gate is an historic detached stone cottage built in 1798.
Our cosy and comfortable bedrooms have original ceiling beams and can accomodate up to three guests.
In fine weather, breakfast can be served in the garden which has beautiful all round views over open countryside.
We have a loveable lurcher dog and a small flock of friendly ducks and hens that provide delicious fresh free range eggs for breakfast.
The local inn serves delicious food (Feb to end of October) and is a leisurely 5 minute level stroll away. Other restaurants that are open all year are a short drive away.
